“Where’s my cut?”: xQc accuses Kai Cenat of stealing ideas
Controversial top streamer Kai Cenat can’t seem to catch a break. Just days after being accused of scamming a creative team for subathon ideas, he’s now facing similar accusations from fellow Twitch star Felix “xQc” Lengyel.
Kai Cenat seemed to blow up overnight after doing a month-long subathon that was later revealed to have a lot of questionable moments, including the appearance of banned streamers, possible sexual acts, and other things that go against Twitch’s guidelines. Most recently, a member of a hired creative team claimed that a lot of the stream ideas during the subathon were theirs, but Cenat never paid to use them.
After seeing the accusations on Twitter, Cenat responded that he wasn’t even aware of the creative team or their Google Sheet full of ideas. But he’s now in trouble for stealing ideas once again.
xQc demands Kai Cenat pay him for stealing ideas
One of xQc’s livestream hobbies is checking the subreddit LivestreamFails, which is dedicated to streamer drama and cringe moments. While looking during his May 28 livestream, xQc came across a post about Cenat allegedly scamming the creative team for subathon ideas.
Instead of standing up for Cenat, the Juicer used the opportunity to also accuse Cenat of doing the same to him.
“Alright, you know what? I’m going to come out of the woodwork and say it, chat. I’ve been holding onto this, chat. I’m going to f—ing say it. Here comes the drama,” xQc started.
According to xQc, he came across Cenat’s show streaming exclusively on Rumble and noticed the first episode was xQc’s camping idea “that I had done for his subathon on the day that I called him on stream.” He said that it was identical to his original idea.
“Where’s my cut?” xQc demanded, adding that it was worth at least “low seven-figures.”
After hearing xQc’s accusations, Cenat called him during a livestream to confront him about the camping idea. He started laughing when xQc said he was coming to “collect” his money from him, clearly not taking the accusations seriously.
“You wanna fight? You wanna box?” Cenat asked.
After the conversation was cut short — due to xQc jumping onto a plane for another alleged move — Kai Cenat said that the Juicer was a “good f—ing dude.” The two obviously have no real beef over the camping idea, with Cenat even joking that he would have invited xQc if he ever left his house.
