Felix “xQc” Lengyel has been in an off-and-on again relationship with streamer Samantha “Adept” Lopez, leading to a lot of drama over the past year.

In the fall of 2022, xQc announced that he was no longer dating his long-time girlfriend, Adept, due to conflict between her and his family. The public announcement caused a heated argument between xQc and Adept, some of which happened during a livestream. The situation has clearly been an emotional one for both of the content creators.

It became even more dramatic when xQc started to date another streamer, Nyyxxii. The short-lived fling ended abruptly when xQc said that Adept and Nyyxxii got into an argument over the phone. xQc reassured his fans that he never cheated on Adept.

When it seemed like things were finally dying down, xQc suddenly stopped streaming when Adept showed up at his house to tell him that he was “violating a court law.”

Are xQc and Adept getting a divorce?

When Adept accused xQc of “violating a court law,” fans were left confused as to what this could possibly be about. Was there a restraining order in place? Was it over some shared accounts? Maybe it was about xQc’s luxury sports car, which was apparently registered to Adept the whole time.

It wasn’t too clear what Adept was referencing, but fans started to speculate what the argument could have been about. Some fans even did some research into xQc’s personal life, pulling up a court filing that stated the former Overwatch League pro was going through a divorce.

However, xQc has denied that the two were ever married.

During a livestream on January 8, xQc said that he was not currently married and had never been married before either. According to xQc, he has explained his stance on marriage many times during his past streams.

“I’ve been saying for years that I would probably never get married for the rest of my life,” xQc said.

xQc further explained to his fans that he felt marriage wasn’t really necessary and that many people do it for the sake of tradition rather than romance.

“It’s just not me, I don’t see any value in it,” xQc added.

While this may be the case, the court document states at the top that the case is a “matter of the marriage” between the two streamers. It also states that the case type is “divorce,” adding that there are no children involved. It was filed on November 14, 2022.

Adept nor xQc have spoken about the possibility of marriage since the stream. For now, fans will have to take xQc’s word for it.
