Felix “xQc” Lengyel has revealed the most money he’s earned in a single year from just streaming. And it’s a lot.

xQc was approached over the weekend by a street interviewer known as natestakkzz when he was in Miami. The Juicer told the interviewer that he’s been streaming for nine years, revealing some interesting insight into his struggles and earnings.

How much has xQc made from streaming?

According to xQc himself, the most he’s ever made in a single year off of streaming is $9 million. This isn’t shocking since he is one of the largest streamers on Twitch in the platform’s history. Unfortunately, he’s used a lot of that money throughout the past few years to fuel his gambling addiction.

Despite this controversy, however, xQc has remained a popular content creator for his one-of-a-kind ranting, talented FPS gameplay, and entertaining in-game antics. He most recently was banned from a popular DayZ server, causing an uproar with his supporters.

“Just do it,” xQc said when asked how he stays creative after all these years of streaming. “Don’t really think a bout it. Just do it. Do a lot of stuff. Some of it will be good and some will be bad, but you’ll get good stuff for sure.”

xQc opens up about biggest streaming issue

After streaming full-time for nine years, including many days that go over 12 hours, there’s been one thing that has really been a challenge for the popular creator.

When asked by natestakkzz about his biggest difficulty to overcome when streaming, xQc said: “People.”

xQc admitted that people are “s—y a lot of times.” This could mean trolls or it could mean people in his personal life, including his dramatic former relationship with Adept.

“Find people who cares about you.. Family, friends… Picking and choosing,” xQc said.

When it comes to building a loyal community, xQc said to create things that people will remember, providing value. He did note, however, that fanbases can’t be nice and big, admitting that larger fanbases are often full of trolls.

While dealing with people may be hard when you’re that famous, xQc has clearly had no issue when it comes to the money side of things. Making $9 million in just one year from streaming is quite an impressive achievement. He also recently signed a $100 million deal with Kick, spreading his fanbase even further.
