The Twitch community thinks Twitch might be unfairly biased towards Kai Cenat, handing him lengthy bans. However, two prominent streamers, xQc and Mizkif, think otherwise — in fact, they think Cenat’s punishments aren’t enough.

The “Dogs” singer recently threatened to leave Twitch, flaming rumors of a Kick switch. After becoming the top creator on the purple platform, Kai Cenat said he’d leave if the platform banned him again. His fear of an imminent ban has led many to believe that Twitch might be extra stern against him, despite his hefty follower count. However, Félix “xQc” Lengyel and Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo have differing opinions.

While watching Patrick CC’s recent video titled, “Twitch Won’t Exist in 7 Years,” Mizkif claimed that Twitch has been too lenient with Kai Cenat, and it’s not a bad thing. The Just Chatting streamer said that Kai got away with a lot of “sh– during his subathon, but he’s not mad about it.

“He got away with a lot of s—… and honestly, do I think Twitch did the right thing there? Absolutely! Absolutely, they did the right thing doing that. They should have let him go,” he said.

xQc says Kai Cenat could get banned multiple times

Mizkif isn’t the only one to think Kai Cenat is Twitch’s golden child. xQc recently took to his stream and claimed that Kai would have gotten banned five or six times if he were someone else. He said that people get banned for things Kai has done many times, but he keeps getting away for some reason. However, like Mizkif, xQc didn’t say it was entirely bad.

“If you want to scope out and look at what people normally get banned for, he would have gotten banned like five or six times. I think that’s like the absolute minimum. I’m not saying that’s good or bad, I’m just saying that’s how it is,” xQc said.

Whether Kai Cenat is the favorite child or not remains up in the air, but clearly, the streamer himself isn’t precisely pleased with Twitch, and rightly so. After becoming the most-followed steamer, the platform sent him a pair of shoes, and that’s all. Since then, Kai has been threatening to leave, and these are not empty threats, considering Kick’s very obvious interest in poaching him.

Despite this, some fans agree that Kai has been let off the hook several times, particularly during his subathon. Also, the narrative surrounding the alleged rape at a party where Kai was in attendance seems to have vanished, leaving many of his fans confused about what to believe.
