Frenzy and Shorty, the top troll pistols, are getting long-due nerfs in Valorant patch 6.11.

Frenzy and Shorty are viable weapons, but serious players rarely use them in high-stakes situations. To squeeze full juice out of these two, you need a tenderizing utility and excellent movement skills, especially in the case of Shorty. Still, the two pistols are uber-powerful, and Riot is now trying to balance them.

Valorant patch 6.11 nerfs Viper, but the Frenzy and Shorty will also take a hit.

Frenzy and Shorty are now less accurate

Shorty is getting heavily nerfed. It’ll no longer be that affordable weapon that anyone can buy after losing the first round. The menacing pistol is now pricier and has fewer bullets in the reserve. The damage and first step falloff will also see some tweaks. Check out the devastating changes here:

  • Reserve ammo adjusted from 10 >>> 6
  • Price adjusted from 150 >>> 300
  • Damage at no falloff adjusted from 12 >>> 11
  • Damage at first step falloff (7 meters) adjusted from 8 >>> 6

The Shorty was always a weapon that was viable only in the range of 15 meters due to the low falloff multiplier. Now, it’s even more feast or famine with the reduced falloff.

But that’s not all. Frenzy is also under Riot’s nerf hammer with significant adjustments of its own:

  • Minimum spread increased from .45 to .65
  • Spread curve has been adjusted for the maximum spread to reach 5 bullets instead of 6.
  • Recoil Pitch has also been adjusted for the max recoil of the Frenzy to be reached with 5 bullets instead of 6. Total recoil is lowered to compensate.

In simpler terms, the Frenzy will be less accurate due to increased bullet spread.

Besides these changes, Riot has tweaked how weapon spread works on ropes, zipliners, and ascenders. The minimum spread on ropes has been increased to 65% of the walking spread. Here are the exact numbers:

  • Rifles from .8 >>> 1.3
  • Classic from .35 >>> .55
  • Frenzy from .35 >>> .52
  • Ghost from .35 >>> .6
  • Sheriff from .35 >>> .78
  • SMGs from .3 >>> .65

These are all the pistol changes coming to Valorant in patch 6.11.
