A new Push map is is coming in Overwatch 2 Season 11.
Overwatch 2 Season 11 is being released on June 20, bringing a bunch of Power Rangers-inspired chaos with it. This includes a ton of new 90s cartoon skins and events. On top of that, a new Push map will be arriving to hopefully spice up that game mode.
Runasapi is a new Push map inspired by Illari’s lore. Located in the Peruvian Andes, the map features cobblestone streets lined with stately buildings on top of a steep cliff overlooking farmlands.
You’ll need to escort TS-1 through “tight streets” that feature the Inti Warrior Historical Museum and Monument as well as a vibrant marketplace full of fresh produce.
With this addition, there are now four Push maps. This includes Esperanca, New Queen Street, Runasapi, and Colosseo, which saw a rework in Season 11. The slight rework impacted the map’s archway section near the center and a few other spots.
Push mode has continued to be an unfavored game mode in Overwatch 2. The game feels much too “back and forth” for a lot of players due to the large map size. Teams are often spending time rushing back from spawn to a faraway location on the map to cut off the bot’s movement. It’s quite often that players are left to trickle in, leading to even more frustration for the team that doesn’t have control of the robot.
