In October, Pokemon GO players can look forward to the long-anticipated arrival of Mega Mawile. As part of a special Raid Day event, this Steel and Fairy-type Pokemon will debut in the game, offering exciting opportunities and rewards for trainers. The event promises a variety of bonuses, from free Raid Passes to boosted chances of encountering a shiny Mawile.

Exciting Raid Day features

Firstly, players have been eagerly awaiting Mega Mawile’s arrival, and Niantic is making the occasion even more rewarding. Secondly, the Raid Day event will start on October 12, schedule to be from 2 PM to 5 PM local time. During the Raid Day, several bonuses will be available. These bonuses are as follows:

Shiny Mega Mawile – Enhanced Rewards

In addition to Mega Mawile’s introduction, players will also receive bonus rewards. These include: a 50% XP boost and 2x Stardust from Raid Battles, making this Raid Day an ideal opportunity to level up and gather resources.

Another highlight of the event is the increased shiny Mawile odds. Normally, shiny Pokemon in the game have a 1 in 50 chance of appearing, but during this event, the odds will improve to 1 in 10, significantly enhancing the likelihood of catching a shiny Mawile.

The Mega Mawile Raid Day offers an exciting chance for players to engage in exclusive battles, gain valuable rewards, and possibly catch a shiny Mawile. With increased Raid Pass limits and enhanced rewards, this event is set to be one of October’s highlights in Pokemon GO.

All shiny Pokémon available in Pokémon GO in 2026 Pokemon
All shiny Pokémon available in Pokémon GO in 2026 Zachary Roberts Getting a shiny Pokémon in Pokémon GO is an absolute treat. It's not as easy to hunt certain things on that game as it is on something like Legends: Z-A or Scarlet and Violet, but you can endlessly play by walking around. The shiny odds are much higher, too. At 1/512 base odds, it's much more likely than in a mainline game, where the odds are 1/4096. If you're interested ...

Recent Pokémon sales prove nostalgia is still king Zachary Roberts To celebrate the 30th anniversary, Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen were brought to the Nintendo Switch (and Switch 2) library. This came a little over a week before Pokémon Pokopia dropped. The former is a decades-old game, and the latter is a brand-new title unlike anything in the franchise. Additionally, it's a real Game of the Year contender. Yet, early sales reports indicate that the two are selling very similarly. FireRed ...
