Remember when Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm demanded a $50 million contract from Kick? It seems the Two-Time may have been onto something.

Dr Disrespect was notoriously banned from Twitch in 2020 despite being one of the most popular influencers on the platform. The reason was never disclosed, although he did admit there was a lawsuit over what happened at one point.

After that, Dr Disrespect moved to YouTube. While he has a good amount of fans on YouTube, he has admitted in the past that he lost a lot of revenue and potential partnerships over the Twitch ban. Ever since the ban, Dr Disrespect has been very vocal with his criticisms of Twitch.

Recently, Dr Disrespect said that he would accept a $50 million contract from Kick after hearing about Felix “xQc” Lengyel’s offer. But is the mullet and mustache personality actually going to Kick?

Kick responds to Dr Disrespect contract request

Kick’s head of product Paulie Chianese recently discussed Dr Disrespect’s $50 million contract request in an interview with streamer Big E.

According to Chianese, Dr Disrespect actually did ask for $50 million, and he apparently isn’t “playing around” with that figure.

With the $50 million firm, will the Two-Time get a Kick contract?

“I love the Doc. I’ve watched him for years and years,” Chianese said when asked about the request. “I think he’s one of the most entertaining streamers in the business. But 50 million is 50 million.”

Oof. Sounds like Kick isn’t willing to send a $50 million contract to Dr Disrespect any time soon. This coincides with a previous statement Dr Disrespect made on stream, where he hinted that he wasn’t too confident that Kick had enough money to offer him what he wanted.

While some of the Doc’s fans may be disappointed to hear about this decision, Dr Disrespect has already stated in the past that he’s looking to cut down on streaming in the future anyway. He is focused on his game studio Midnight Society and its first battle royale title, on top of other business ventures.
