Dr Disrespect backlash

YouTuber Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm was left with little options when he was mysteriously permabanned from Twitch. He ended up at YouTube but continued to rant about the damage the permanent ban did to his brand. Will he move to Twitch’s new rival, Kick?

Despite setbacks, the Two-Time has made YouTube his home. He currently has over 4.3 million subscribers on YouTube, where he also streams his Apex Legends, Call of Duty, and Fortnite gameplay. Aside from his affinity for battle royales, Dr Disrespect has gained a loyal following for his over-the-top character and outspoken nature.

He didn’t hold back when asked about if he was contemplating a move to Kick.

Dr Disrespect discusses possible move to Kick

During a recent stream, Dr Disrespect responded to the question: “Hey Doctor, are you going to Kick?”

Dr Disrespect immediately said “shut the f— up” and demanded they stop asking. At first, it seemed like the Doc had shut down the idea of moving to Kick. But that wasn’t all he said.

“I’ll let you know,” Dr Disrespect said after a pregnant pause.

The reaction to the viral clip has been positive. Fans feel that his tone hints that Dr Disrespect is definitely considering the possibility of moving to Kick, and many believe it would be a good idea for the popular streamer. Fans said that the move would be “huge,” bringing tens of thousands of fans to the platform immediately.

Of course, it’s not confirmed if Dr Disrespect is actually moving to Kick despite his cryptic statement. Some think it’s a logical move due to the NFTs involved in his game. But it’s unclear what would be necessary to get Dr Disrespect to make the switch.

Some of the latest streamers to sign with Kick include Adin Ross, Tyler “Trainwreck” Niknam, and Hikaru Nakamura.
