Widejoy is back in Valorant. The iconic meme previously removed from the game has received another memorial for April Fools’ day. 

Developer Riot Games has always been closely in touch with the Valorant community and its running jokes. From “revive me Jett” to the lobster spray, Riot has immortalized many community-favorite memes. But nothing beats the greatness of a happy accident that gave birth to the best meme in Valorant. 

Widejoy has returned to the Valorant, this time in the form of a framed spray dubbed the Accidental Renaissance. 

Widejoy enters Valorant on April Fools’ day 

Riot Games had some fun with Valorant players by releasing a trailer of Widejoy mode. According to the teaser, players could scrunch Killjoy in the game for just one day. Except it was all a prank for April Fools’ day. There is no broad mode, but the developer has dropped a new spray to celebrate the wide version of Killjoy. 

The Accidental Renaissance spray pays homage to the legendary wide Killjoy, a meme adored by many Valorant players. Riot previously added a fresh new banner to make up for the retracted card, but this new spray is also a welcome addition. The framed spray features Killjoy in full glory, and if you look closely, the agent is just a bit stretched, so players can enjoy widejoy in a new style. 

Here’s how to unlock the Valorant Accidental Renaissance spray

It’s pretty easy to acquire the limited-edition Accidental Renaissance widejoy spray. All you have to do is log into your Valorant account and the spray will be added to your inventory. It’s a free in-game cosmetic that’s available only for a limited time. 

The Accidental Renaissance spray can only be claimed until April 8. After one week, the spray will be removed from Valorant and only those who logged in during April Fools’ week will be able to use it. It’s a rare cosmetic, so be quick and grab yours.

How to use Killjoy’s ultimate

Killjoy’s Lockdown device detains all enemies caught in its radius, but it can also be destroyed. Place it at safe spots to take control of a bomb point on the attacker’s side.

On defense, use it when your team struggles with guarding a particular area. Always deploy the Lockdown device some distance away from any nearby walls. Enemies can destroy the machine with Odin spam, Breach’s kit, and other powers if it’s directly adjacent to a wall.
