Valorant battle pass adds a spray dedicated to Sykkuno
Valorant battle pass adds a spray dedicated to Sykkuno
Valorant Episode 2, Act 3 is upon us, and it comes with tons of cool skins, gun buddies, and other in-game cosmetics. However, this one spray might interest the fans of popular Twitch streamer Sykunno.
A new season is coming to refreshes ranks and adds a new level. Along with these primary updates, the developer is rolling out a new battle pass with lots of stuff for players to sink their teeth into. The Valorant Episode 2, Act 3 battle pass included dozens of skins, but this tiny spray caught players’ attention.
What’s the story behind the “Lobster?” Valorant spray?

Valorant Episode 2, Act 3’s battle pass includes a picture of a weird-looking animal titled “Lobster?” The peculiar spray was confusing for many, but Sykunno’s dedicated viewers understood the context.
The spray is dedicated to a famous Sykunno clip where the streamer mistook a poorly drawn Platypus for a Lobster. During his Valorant stream, Sykunno spotted the “lobster” on Ascent’s B site and mentioned it to his friends. His lobby broke out in laughter over the gaffe.
Remember Sykkuno calling the platypus looking thing a lobster? I think Valorant added that as a reference to their newly released spray

The short clip went viral among fans, but Valorant developer Anna Donlon, a fan of Sykunno, probably noticed this memorable moment. The Valorant spray titled “Lobster?” had the same graffiti, and it’s most likely a nod to the classic Sykunno clip, as the question mark at the end signifies.
This is not the first time Valorant has taken inspiration from trending memes to create sprays. In the previous act, the developer added “revive me Jett” as a spray. In a short clip, a Valorant player kept pestering Jett to revive him, not knowing that the duelist doesn’t have the ability to reive. The meme made the cut for the Valorant Episode 2, Act 2 battle pass in the form of a spray.
When does Valorant Episode 2, Act 3 start?
Valorant Episode 2, Act 3 is set to begin on April 27 in North America. The timing may vary depending on the region you’re in.
The new act expands Valorant’s map pool with the addition of Breeze. New skins dubbed the “Forsaken” line will also be available in the Valorant market along with a battle pass that has dozens of in-game cosmetics and sprays. Players will have close to two months to lock their act rank before the new one begins. This will likely be the final act in Episode 2, and many are also expecting a new agent as well.
