Reload is the newest game mode in Fortnite and it may be the new favorite. But how long will Reload be in Fortnite? Here’s what we know.

Data miners have uncovered that Fortnite’s battle royale and Zero Build mode have both had player drop off the last few days. That’s because a lot of gamers have switched to Reload since it was released.

Fortnite Reload has a small map and just 40 players per match. In this mode, players get a reboot timer once they’re eliminated that begins at 30 seconds and goes up to 40. Teammates have to stay alive while their ally’s timer is active, lowering it by getting kills. The mode has become popular because it encourages aggressive gameplay and you can keep coming back for more action.

But will Epic let us keep playing Reload?

Is Fortnite Reload permanent?

Fortnite Reload came out on June 22. After a week of grinding the game mode, players are wondering how long they have to enjoy Reload.

Right now it’s believed that Reload will be permanent, similar to LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing. It’s a standalone mode not a limited time mode.

Epic has not confirmed if Reload is permanent or not, however. For now, it’s all up to speculation. Reload probably won’t be leaving any time soon though.

Fortnite Reload getting duos

To make it even more unlikely that Reload is leaving in the near future, Epic just released a duos version of the game mode. This will create an even more intense match as your partner races to stay alive and get kills when you’re waiting to respawn.

Now, Fortnite fans are even asking for trios.
