Streamers Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker and Tyler “Trainwreck” Niknam got into a heated argument during a recent livestream to put an end to their ongoing social media drama.

Felix “xQc” Lengyel had the grand idea to have HasanAbi and Trainwreck on a livestream together. The goal was to get the two streamers to “stop subtweeting each other,” but it only added to the drama.

Some of the recent online altercations between HasanAbi and Trainwreck started when Trainwreck criticized a recent charity project HasanAbi did with Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins. The two content creators got together to raise funds for communities impacted by the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey in February. Trainwrecks said that HasanAbi only matched a small percentage of the crowdfunded money, which reached over $1 million.

“Look at him undermining 50 grand. Like, I’m sorry I don’t have $700 million from crypto and gambling sponsorships. That’s crazy,” HasanAbi responded at the time.

During the recent stream moderated by xQc, the two clashed on this topic again. Trainwreck eluded to HasanAbi’s expensive home in Los Angeles, hinting that he doesn’t practice what he preaches. But HasanAbi was ready with a big criticism of his own, calling out Trainwrecks for giving young viewers “false hope” with his gambling streams.

HasanAbi criticizes Kick in argument with Trainwreck

The discussion turned to Kick, a streaming platform that Trainwreck has supported in an attempt to compete with Twitch. Kick has tried to entice big streamers by promising to have less regulations regarding gambling, but HasanAbi said there’s not been enough moderation on the site in general.

“Ironically, you started off talking about how you hated how much hot tub streamers were awful, and now you’ve got porn on your platform. So maybe, you now recognize the importance of moderation, especially as it pertains to an overall platform,” HasanAbi added.

Trainwreck responded by stating that he only makes money from his content and doesn’t make a profit from his viewers losing money while gambling. But this didn’t sit well with HasanAbi and his followers.

HasanAbi has always been politically outspoken, but he has also become known for his charitable efforts. He most recently paid the adoption fees for every dog in three shelters across Los Angeles. His continued positivity has made a lot of people on his side compared to the seedy gambling world that Trainwrecks has continued to grow on Kick.
