HasanAbi pays adoption fees for every dog at Los Angeles shelters

Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker has recently tugged on the heartstrings of the streaming community by making a big impact on dog adoption in Los Angeles.

HasanAbi has been traveling to dog shelters throughout LA county as of late, announcing that he will be paying the adoption fees for all of the dogs at each one. This was seemingly inspired by philanthropist and YouTuber Jimmy “Mr Beast” Donaldson, who did a similar good deed in 2020. This will help dogs get adopted much faster since people won’t have to worry about paying any fees.

“While I cannot adopt all of these puppies, I wanted to at the very least pay to the adoption fee of every single puppy in this facility and I’m going to do that in all of the other placed we go to as well, hopefully, if they let us,” HasanAbi explained.

Paying the adoption fees at just one shelter was around $15,000, with each dog costing $500 to adopt. Some people can’t afford $500, so they can’t adopt dogs that desperately need homes. But the shelters need this money to properly take care of each dog during their stay, including food, vaccinations, emergency care, and fixing them.

The wholesome moment was made even more emotional when HasanAbi adopted a puppy himself. Fans loved seeing him holding onto the puppy, noting how emotional HasanAbi seemed. Others felt that he was very gentle with the puppies, showing them a different side of the streamer.
