Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa says that she is leaving her e-girl life behind.

Amouranth has become one of the most iconic figures on popular streaming platform Twitch, known for her boundary-pushing streaming trends ranging from wearing revealing bikinis while lounging in hot tubs to licking microphones in the ASMR category while showing off her yoga pants. Through it all, Amouranth has also invested in a plastic ball company while becoming the owner of a gas station and making other potent business moves.

Now it seems that Amouranth may be leaving behind her most well-known and potentially lucrative career path: adult content.

Is Amouranth retiring from OnlyFans?

On April 8, Amouranth shared one of her usual provocative photos on Twitter. She wore a tight shirt and short plaid skirt. But the caption was a bit different than her typical accompanying text.

“How do I stop being an e-girl?” she asked.

This was seen as a possible joke or a way to bait her fans, but on April 12, Amouranth decided to share some big news about her career. She quote tweeted the original picture and wrote that it was the “end of an era” and that she was not being an e-girl anymore. According to the tweet, Amouranth will be quitting OnlyFans in June, 2022.

“Going all out til then,” Amouranth added.

What is Amouranth doing after her adult content retirement?

The adult content creator apparently made a “$400K investment” into her Twitch content. Information on this stream will be announced at the end of this week. Until then, fans have been left wondering what Amouranth is up to on Twitch and beyond.

“I’ve often talked about a career pivot. But I’ve sort of been picking my spot, investing, accruing capital, and deploying it when opportunities make sense. This is the first time I put considerable real-time, muscle, and dinero behind the efforts!” Amouranth said.

This includes the large investment into her content. Amouranth hasn’t given any further details on the Twitch pivot just yet, but said it’s “different than anything I’ve ever made.” She also noted that it’s less “influencer” and more “creator economy,” meaning more traditional media. Amouranth added that it’s a “big risk” for her.

Amouranth ended her announcement with a poll asking if people would be supporting her on this risky journey. She added that the switch in content may end her online career completely and she might disappear if it doesn’t go according to plan.

So far, around 60% of people have responded “LOL RIP.”

While not everyone has faith in Amouranth’s capabilities beyond adult content creation, the influencer has proven time and again that she is smart about her business. While some of her moves have been morally and legally questionable, Amouranth has continued to make investments that pay off big for her.

“Also if any creators are interested in learning very casually and broadly about the tax-efficient stuff I’ve been doing around buying partially and wholly-owned businesses, give me a holler,” Amouranth said.

So far, it’s a mystery as to exactly what type of content Amouranth has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into. Fans will just have to wait and see.
