xQc frustrated on Twitch

Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel is no stranger to betting, and now he’s made a huge wager on the World Cup.

The 2022 Qatar World Cup has been a huge hit with the streaming community, and many streamers have been watching and discussing the matches. Now, the World Cup Final is almost here, with Argentina facing France.

Argentina is favored to win the World Cup, but nothing is guaranteed in the sports world. Still, xQc has decided to put down an insane bet on France winning the Final.

xQc announces big bet on France to win World Cup

xQc is not afraid of losing money. Up until Twitch banned gambling streams, xQc was openly addicted to slots and other forms of online gambling. Now, he’s put down $500,000 on the World Cup Final match. If France ends up winning, xQc will see a return of $1.45 million.

“I’ve been saying France is gonna win it all since the first game. Putting money where my mouth is. Easiest win of my life,” xQc said on Twitter.

xQc’s fans were horrified at the attached screenshot, which confirmed the $500,000 bet. Right now, Argentina is looking like the favorite and has been dominating. At the time of his announcement, the score was 2-0 in favor of Argentina.

The soccer community has even gone so far as to say the World Cup is “rigged.” A lot of the French players have announced they were sick right before the Final. Some fans even noticed some questionable moments in the game that led them to believe that France was “throwing.”

At the same time, Argentina has star player Lionel Messi. He’s often considered the GOAT, and many were shocked to see xQc root against him.

It’s possible that the screenshot is altered and xQc just announced a bad bet to rile up the streaming community. For now, fans will have to wait until after the Final match is over to see what happens to xQc.
