Felix “xQc” Lengyel has a complicated relationship with gambling. xQc used to visit gambling sites during his livestreams but stopped after admitting that he was addicted to gambling. While he has previously worried about his addiction in the past, xQc has now decided to embrace what he referred to as a mental illness.

xQc may not stream gambling sites and Gambling Simulator anymore, but he is still managing to feed his addiction. According to the top Twitch streamer, he gambles in “every game” he plays.

xQc responds to accusations that he influences viewers to gamble

During a recent stream, a viewer accused xQc of inspiring his followers to “waste money” through gambling. Even though the games xQc plays now aren’t directly gambling games, some felt as though he was still doing something similar while also spreading the habit to his fans.

“I think it’s fun. I’m addicted,” xQc said.

xQc then responded that he has an “insanely addictive personality,” which is the reason why he tried to stay away from Gambling Simulator and other similar games. He said that he “shouldn’t gamble” and it’s “terrible” that he does it, since he’s “easily addicted.” But xQc has apparently decided that he doesn’t care anymore.

During a passionate rant, xQc declared that he doesn’t care that he’s addicted to gambling anymore.

“That’s illness! I’m ill! But I can afford to be ill! I’m lucky,” xQc yelled to his viewers.

While xQc’s fans aren’t necessarily excited that their favorite streamer is addicted to gambling, the actual concern is not if xQc is addicted. For many people in the streaming community, the issue is the influence xQc has over his generally younger followers. He has been continuously accused of inspiring his followers to follow his lead in gambling on the same sites that he streams from.
