xQc breakup

Felix “xQc” Lengyel is single. Again.

In a recent live stream, xQc confirmed that his relationship with fellow Overwatch content creator Fran is over. According to the Juicer, the relationship has been over for quite some while now, but the two had attempted to “keep the facade up” to avoid public drama.

Why did xQc and Fran breakup?

xQc didn’t reveal the specific reason that he ended things with Fran, but it seemed like he wasn’t happy with the outcome of their relationship.

xQc said there are “too many moving pieces,” and it just wasn’t as simple as he’d hoped. It seemed like a lot of things were getting in the way of them having a relationship, or at least in the way they had hoped.

He said: “I’m tired of having so much collateral damage or whatever. It just seems like everybody around me is suffering a lot. It makes me feel like I’m radiating something bad right now, and I need to give it a reset.”

xQc Fran

xQc and Fran attempted to keep their relationship a secret from the start. The former Overwatch League pro recently went through a very toxic breakup with Samantha “Adept” Lopez, which seemed to involve divorce and a lot of legal woes. At one point, xQc even accused Adept of taking photos of him while he was asleep in an attempt to make it seem like they were back together.

During this time, xQc had a few short-lived relationships. The most promising was with Fran, who he went public with in early June. But it soon became clear why xQc had attempted to keep the relationship private at first. Once fans knew of the relationship, a lot of them lashed out due to his shorter streaming schedule and accused him of moving on too fast.

“I just don’t get it. It’s like everything that isn’t a f—ing disaster in my life, everything that isn’t actually f—ing killing me, it’s like you attack the f— out of it until I get rid of it. Why? I don’t get it,” xQc responded at the time.

It’s currently unclear if the ongoing harassment and backlash from fans played a role in xQc and Fran’s breakup. But xQc did claim that the decision was “mutual.”
