Felix “xQc” Lengyel isn’t happy with Forbes after the publication claimed he had racist and homophobic controversies.
xQc is one of the biggest influencers in the world, boasting over 11 million followers on Twitch. While he started as an Overwatch League pro, xQc has gained popularity over the years for his skillful gameplay and over-the-top personality.
xQc has had his fair share of controversy, from his gambling addiction to streaming reality television shows all day. He is not afraid to speak his mind as well, getting in arguments with Dimitri “Greekgodx” Antonatos and sexist content creator Andrew Tate. But has xQc said anything sexist and racist?

In a recent stream, xQc found himself scrolling his own subreddit to see what fans were posting about him. One of the top posts was a link to a Forbes entry on him.
Forbes had him listed as a MultiVersus streamer, which was already a bit of a surprise. The information in his bio on the website left xQc even more confused.
“Despite controversies involving racist, homophobic, and sexually explicit content…” read the short paragraph about xQc’s streaming career.
“That’s so weird. That’s really bad, though. Racist, homophobic, explicit content?” xQc asked. “When did I do racist and homophobic content? None of these things happened, man. That is not real.”
One viewer responded that it “could be worse,” but xQc asked what could really be worse, saying it was “really bad” that was written about him.
xQc has run into these issues in the past, however. xQc was suspended from Dallas Fuel back when he was an Overwatch League pro after he made homophobic remarks about another player.
“Suck a fat c—. You would like it,” he said at the time.
xQc was then dropped from the team entirely after he made racist comments towards an Overwatch League caster.
During his full time streaming career after, xQc was suspended from Twitch for showing sexually suggestive content. While playing an innocent game, xQc received a pop-up for adult-oriented anime content. He pressed the link, getting an image of the animated woman without a bra on.
While these incidents did happened, xQc has continued to deny Forbes’ description of his controversies. This is most likely due to these older issues not being repeated over time. Many people still find xQc’s behavior inexcusable, however.
