Disguised Toast

Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang has been a prominent streamer on every platform, having streamed for YouTube, Facebook Gaming, and Twitch.

Toast is a very popular streamer, despite having to rebuild a fanbase with each move between platforms. He currently has 2.5 million followers on Twitch, where he can be found playing games or Just Chatting with other popular internet personalities.

So how did he get so big? What does he do?

Where is Disguised Toast from?

Disguised Toast is Taiwanese-Canadian, but now lives in Los Angeles. He often flies back to Canada to visit family and take breaks from the hectic streaming life. He was born in 1991, making him 30 years old as of this writing.

What does Disguised Toast play?

Disguised Toast started out as a YouTuber, creating videos about Hearthstone. Even though the game has decreased in popularity over the years, He has continued to stream the game on Twitch as well.

He has a bit more variety these days, streaming Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant, and other competitive titles. He is functionally a variety streamer at this point, but he remains one of the leading personalities within Hearthstone.

What happened to Disguised Toast on Twitch?

Disguised Toast returned to Twitch in November 2021, which was a bit of a surprise to fans. He had a lot of harsh words for Twitch before the announcement, including a time he said that he had “freedom” at Facebook Gaming instead of “slaving away” on Twitch.

Disguised Toast was apparently asked to come back to Twitch in 2019, but the two sides couldn’t come to terms. According to the streamer, the offer from Twitch was 30 times less than what he was offered by Facebook Gaming. He stated that the reason for this was that he wasn’t a “big enough Asian streamer” to give him an increased contract. Toast claimed Twitch even compared him to Faker, the League of Legends veteran from South Korea.

Despite the past controversy, Toast returned to Twitch last year most likely due to his massive following on the platform. Many of his fellow content creators and friends are also on Twitch.

What is OfflineTV?

OfflineTV is an entertainment group formed by content creators including Imane “Pokimane” Anys. Disguised Toast can often be seen streaming and creating videos with members of OfflineTV, which is another reason he is so massively popular.

Is Disguised Toast single?

Disguised Toast seems to be single at this time.

He previously dated Janet “xChocoBars” Rose in 2018 but the pair broke up in early 2020.

“Toast and I are sad to announce that we have broken up. We’ve been pretty public about our relationship since the start, so we felt like we owe it to fans to make this announcement. But now, we ask for privacy as we both move forward,” xChocoBars tweeted.

According to the public statement, there was no real drama or problems behind the breakup. The two even remained friends after the breakup, with Toast joking soon after that it was suspicious how xChocoBars broke up with him after fixing her vision with surgery.
