Athnessa took the Twitch world by storm in 2021, but now the popular streamer is branching out to even bigger platforms.

After making a name as a popular Just Chatting streamer, Athnessa has transformed her personality into a personal brand. She now posts on a bunch of different platforms after being banned from Twitch. Here’s everything you need to know about Athnessa, from what she’s most famous for to all of her active platforms.

How did Athnessa become famous?

Athnessa originally rose to fame as a Twitch streamer. According to Twitch Tracker, she has 142,000 followers on the platform. Her viewership peaked in July of 2021 with over 5,000 viewers. However, she took a four-month break shortly after her peak. After returning, Athnessa maintained solid viewership but stopped streaming in 2022 due to a mysterious permanent ban. She almost exclusively streamed for the Just Chatting category with occasional ASMR and gaming content.

While Twitch was her first major platform, Athnessa has pivoted to TikTok and Instagram. She currently has almost 16,000 followers on TikTok. Instagram is her most popular platform at just under 50,000 followers. She primarily posts selfies along with photos and videos from traveling.

What was Athnessa the streamer banned for on Twitch?

It is unknown why Athnessa was banned from Twitch and neither the platform nor the streamer have offered a hint regarding the reason.

Athnessa’s Twitch account is currently inactive due to a permanent ban. As a result, she is no longer allowed to stream on the platform or appear on other people’s streams.

Neither Twitch staff nor Athnessa have directly addressed why she was banned from the platform. However, she did have multiple temporary bans before that point. Athnessa often wore provocative clothing in compromising positions on stream, which is likely related to multiple forced breaks.

What platforms is Athnessa active on?

Athnessa is currently active to various degrees on all of the following platforms. Links to all of her platforms can be found on her Linktree.

Athnessa’s most popular active platform is Instagram by a considerable margin. With almost 50,000 subscribers, Athnessa has clearly built a large platform for her personal brand. While her Linktree includes links to her YouTube and Twitch, she appears to be much less active on those platforms compared to her other socials. Still, going off purely follower counts, Athnessa’s banned Twitch account remains her biggest base with 142,000 followers.
