When is Chapter 4 Season 4 coming to Fortnite?

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 has brought a summer-inspired fest to the battle royale, including Futurama characters and dinosaurs. While this season is definitely no slouch, gamers are already wondering when the next season will begin — which is nothing new. So here’s when Chapter 4 Season 4 begins.

What is the Chapter 4 Season 4 start date?

Somehow sick of the summer festivities in Fortnite? You only have a month left until there are some big changes.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is starting on August 25, 2023.

Per usual, the upcoming season start date has not been confirmed by Epic Games. Instead, this is all based on a very formulaic pattern for past seasons that has seasons begin right when the previous season ends.

Of course, anything can happen. Maybe there will be a crazy big event that happens between Season 3 and Season 4 — this wouldn’t be the first time. Or perhaps it will be out of Epic’s control and there will be a delay. But if all things go according to the usual pattern, this date is pretty predictable.

When is Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 ending?

As previously stated, seasons end and start on the same day in Fortnite. That means Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 is ending on August 25, 2023.

The official downtime is August 25 at 2 am EST. After a few hours of downtime, Fortnite will be back with Season 4. This could change, however, so be ready for anything Epic throws at us.
