What is the plot of the live action Naruto movie?

Naruto is a coming-of-age story about a ninja named Naruto Uzamaki who wants to lead a ninja village. Focused on intense fights, friendship, and emotional moments, the series has captured millions of fans. Now, creator Masahi Kishimoto has given Cretton his blessing.

“When I heard of Destin’s attachment, it happened to be right after watching a blockbuster action film of his, and I thought he would be the perfect director for Naruto,” said Kishimoto in a statement.

Kishimoto explained that he has enjoyed Cretton’s other films and feels they focus on “dramas about people,” making him feel it was a good fit. On top of that, Kishimoto explained that Cretton is “open-minded” and has been embracing input, meaning the adaptation will hopefully be pretty true to Naruto’s original story and style.

For now, however, the plot has not been revealed.

Who is starring in the live action Naruto film?

Naruto is one of the most iconic anime series of all time. The characters are beyond recognizable and there is definitely pressure from the anime fandom to represent them properly.

So far, no actors have been officially announced for the live action Naruto film. Only time will tell who will be taking on the challenge.

Right now, fans of the anime are a bit frustrated to hear about the live action adaptation, worried that it will not be accurate to the source material. Said one fan: “Not every anime needs to be live action.”
