League of Legends has over 4,000 skins and collecting every single one is a mammoth task in both time and money invested. What happens when you collect every skin in League of Legends and what does it take to get to that place?

The secret to owning every skin in League of Legends

No matter what you do on the way to owning all the skins in League of Legends, you’re going to spend a lot of money. Even the most dedicated players won’t be able to keep up with the release schedule on skins purely off of the free skin shards and permanents granted to them for playing games.

But once you’ve already acquired the cheaper skins, there’s a way to save yourself a lot more money on the most expensive cosmetics.

Mythic Skins are League of Legends’ rarest and can only be collected through sheer luck in loot chests and skin rerolls or by cashing in the rarest currency of all, Hextech Gemstones. Determined collectors, however, have found a way to rig the odds in their favor when rerolling skin shards in their collection.

When you reroll skins, you spend three skin shards and receive a random skin you don’t own in return. If you own all but the most exclusive ones, the skin reroll will have no choice but to give you those ultra-rare cosmetics that you don’t already have.

A post on the League subreddit recently gained attention for showing what happens when you own every skin in League of Legends. Reddit user CaIIMeShadow showed off his last few rerolls, all resulting in Prestige or Mythic skins. This is a sight very few League of Legends players will ever see and it’s quite the sight to behold.

While you can help yourself along with clever use of the skin reroll function, there’s no way to collect all of these skins without dropping an absurd amount of money.
