
Valorant YouTuber SeLFlo is reportedly dead by suicide after falling from the top of an apartment building.
According to local reports, a student at the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior died in Hyderabad, India. The individual who died was identified as Valorant YouTuber SeLFlo. He was 23 years old.
SeLFlo had discussed his struggles with mental health before his death. Shortly before he died, he posted an apparent suicide note on Twitter. He said in the note that he was raped as a child and that he suffered physical and emotional abuse at the hands of his parents. He stated he had suicidal ideations as early as in the second grade, and that he was chastised by teachers and beaten by his parents for expressing those thoughts.
“It’s time I part ways with the world, for I can no longer bear being stuck in this loop of depression, sadness, and anger anymore. I can no longer be part of this ‘experiment’ from whoever designed this universe,” SeLFlo said in the note.
SeLFlo was a YouTuber that created content based on a number of first-person shooters. He originally made Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds content, but focused much of his effort on Valorant following the game’s release.
He posted content on Valorant regularly, discussing changes in the game, guides, and news. He posted a video to his channel the day before he died discussing possible nerfs to Valorant character Chamber.

News of his death spread across social media with fans and others within the Valorant scene expressing sadness over SeLFlo being found dead and the struggles he had discussed. Unfortunately, this is this third high-profile death in the Valorant scene over the last year, following “revive me, Jett” meme creator Lance “Finest” Arcilla and esports caster Michael “KiXSTAr” Stockley.
