Prestige Empyrean K'Sante

K’Sante, the Pride of Nazumah is the latest champion to join League of Legends, and aspiring players should use these pro builds for K’Sante to excel in the top lane.

K’Sante is a unique top lane tank that can flip a switch to isolate enemies and become a skirmishing threat like Fiora or Jax. Here’s how the best players in the world are trying to make the most out of K’Sante, as well as some K’Sante pro builds for you to take into your games.

K’Sante pro builds for top lane

K’Sante debuted to some unremarkable win rate statistics, opening up with a win rate deep in the low 40s. That has slowly eeked higher and higher as players begin to figure out exactly how K’Sante plays. Aside from KT Rolster support Kim “Life” Jeong-min, every other pro player has kept K’Sante confined to the top lane.

Pro players have settled on leaning into K’Sante primary role as a tank rather than focusing their items and runes on making his skirmishing form more potent. Every single pro is consistently taking Flash and Teleport as their summoner spells with practically no exception. Players are almost exclusively building Sunfire Cape or Frostfire Gauntlet as their Mythic item, with more leaning into Sunfire than Frostfire. From there, the most popular items are Thornmail, Gargoyle Stoneplate, Frozenheart, Randuin’s Omen, Force of Nature, and Sterak’s Gage. K’Sante’s builds tend to be quite varied, adapting to skew towards Magic Resistance, Armor, and Tenacity as need be depending on the enemy damage profiles.

The best runes for K’Sante

K’Sante’s runes seem to have settled from initial experiments with Conqueror to settle quite emphatically on Grasp of the Undying. The most common rune page chooses the Resolve as its primary tree and takes Grasp of the Undying, Demolish, Second Wind, and Overgrowth. The secondary tree is more flexible with Precision being most common, and the runes therein that pro players choose the most are Legend: Tenacity, Triumph, and Last Stand.
