Tfue taking a mental health break from streaming
One of the most popular Fortnite streamers and pro players, Turner “Tfue” Tenney, is taking a break from streaming for the sake of his mental health.
Fortnite star Tfue is taking time off live streaming and has shared that information with his fans
over Twitter. He added that he has been unhappy lately even though he has everything that he needs in his life, but that he has still been feeling “trapped in a negative space in his mind.”
Tfue hasn’t shared how long of a break he’s planning on taking.
Even though he’s a popular Twitch streamer and a famous personality in the Fornite community, Tfue hasn’t been having it easy lately. During the spring of this year, Tfue dealt with a legal dispute over his contract with FaZe Clan. He claimed that the contract’s terms were oppressive and one-sided, and the drama surrounding it dominated the scene for some time. He was also surely frustrated with his results at the 2019 Fortnite World Cup, where he finished in 67th place, falling well short of the hype his fans created around his participation.
He has also gotten into problems for using racial slurs and making other offensive comments during his broadcasts multiple times in the recent past. As a matter of fact, he has been
accused of using racial epithets
during a Minecraft stream earlier in September, along with some other inappropriate phrases.
Tfue has been loud about the underwhelming state of Fortnite ever since the release of Season X, just like many other Fortnite players and streamers. He has also split with his former trio team members Dennis “cloakzy” Lepore and Thomas “72hrs” Mulligan after the two accepted a sponsored streaming deal that Tfue passed on, as he believed the trio would prefer to practice rather than broadcast sponsored streams during the contracted weekend.
Tfue claims his former teammates didn’t tell him a word about their accepting the offer, leaving him on the outs.
Even though Tfue has a large fandom behind him, the last few months don’t seem to have been easy for the young Fortnite pro. His fans have mostly been supportive of his decision to stop and take care of his well-being.
Tfue doesn’t seem to have taken a break from Fornite, however, as he has been competing in the weekly Fortnite Champion Series.
