Riot drops first image for Turkish Valorant agent 20
Riot Games has just confirmed that the new agent Bounty Hunter is indeed an Initiator, hailing from the land of hot air balloons and Lokum, Turkey.
Agent 20 has ruffled the entire Valorant universe with snarky threat notes and blackmailing. The mysterious hacker-like character has caused mayhem and they haven’t even arrived yet. For a while, only vague clues have helped players put together a picture of the next agent but Riot has finally dropped significant hints.
In a
recent blog, character producer John Goscicki has confirmed the abilities of the upcoming agent 20, along with his whereabouts.
Where is Agent 20 Bounty Hunter from?
Valorant developers closed off the blog with “Herkesin bir korkusu var,” a Turkish sentence that roughly translates to “everyone has a fear” in English. This most definitely means that agent 20 is from Turkey.
The developer has also dropped an image of a cup of tea next to a plate of Lokum, a famous Turkish delight. The image file is titled “Lokum” so it can’t be mistaken. Maybe the upcoming agent 20 isn’t entirely bitter after all.
However, the corkboard in their room is rather alarming as it has images of Sova and Cypher plastered all over it. This likely means that he’s ready to give the star intel-gatherers in Valorant a run for their money.
Who’s Valorant agent 20?
Valorant agent 20 is an ace Initiator who hails from Turkey, the developer has revealed. The recent blog not only hinted at his origin but how he will work within the game itself.
“This next agent should give you a more…intimate feeling when hunting down enemies. Of course, there is our theme— but the thought of giving away too much frightens me, so I’ll leave that out,”
John Goscicki said.
Without giving too much away just yet, developers revealed that agent 20, codename Bounty Hunter, has a more “localized” initiation and recon kit. This means that Viper’s voice note was accurate all along. According to the poisonous agent, the upcoming agent would help gather more information as the roster needs “more eyes.”
The mystery character has already racked up files on each Valorant agent’s personal and professional life. So agent 20 has already proven their worth to the higher-ups like Brimstone and Viper. They’re untraceable by the likes of Sova and Cypher, two agents who seem to play a
critical role in developing lore. The upcoming agent dodged Sova’s dart, but Cypher successfully pinned them down to Turkey. This has now been confirmed in a sentence left off by the developer.
The face reveal is yet to come, but players finally have valuable information about their whereabouts and kit. The next Valorant agent 20 is all set to be released in Episode 4 Act 3.
