Imane “Pokimane” Anys is coming back to Twitch soon, and she’s got something new in store for her fans.
Pokimane shocked the streaming community when she announced a sudden month-long break in July. On July 19, Pokimane told her 9.2 million followers that she was taking a break from Twitch for a “mental reset.” She explained that she needed time to focus on herself.
Since then, Pokimane was silent on social media until August 21 when she posted a selfie. The flirty picture was met with a lot of praise and attention from the community. After receiving so much love, Pokimane took to her personal Twitter to give some updates on her streaming schedule.
Earlier today, Pokimane acknowledged all of the love she’d received on her selfie. She added that she is working on a new stream room, but it’s currently unfinished as she prepares to come back to Twitch.
Pokimane added that her streaming setup would look completely different this time around, but didn’t share much else about the update.
This isn’t the first time that Pokimane has upgraded her streaming setup. YouTuber Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg mocked Pokimane’s old streaming room in August 2021, including her small monitors and tangled wires. He also expressed shock at the box Pokimane had under her desk in place of an actual footstool.

In response to the criticism, Pokimane decided to upgrade her streaming area. PewDiePie approved of her new streaming setup, but it appears that Pokimane isn’t done with the area just yet. It will apparently look completely different once she’s back on Twitch.
