Great news for fans of Attack on Titan! Mikasa and Captain Levi are swinging into Fortnite maps very soon.
The Attack on Titan and Fortnite collaboration was long due, with Epic teasing the Eren Yeager silhouette in the Chapter 4 Season 2 battle pass. But, the main protagonist won’t be the only one joining the battle arena. Fortnite’s islands will be scattered with Survey Cops fighting alongside the other characters in the game.
A short trailer from Epic Games provides a first look at the two characters slinging their way out of Shiganshina into the Fortnite world. Mikasa and Levi Ackerman are dressed in signature browns, and players will also notice the anime effect on their skin. Both characters are equipped with the ODM gear, running full pace to tackle the unique Titans.
Earlier, Epic announced that Eren Yeager would be added as part of the April 11 update in Chapter 4, Season 2. So now, Attack on Titans fans can enjoy the skins of the anime’s most popular trio.
This also means that Mikasa and Eren will finally reunite, and Attack on Titans can have their closure, even if it’s in the game. Things between the iconic duo aren’t the best in the series, but players can have a good time in the virtual reality of Fortnite, where Mikasa and Eren are still best friends.
Eren Yeager’s skin can be claimed by grinding the battle pass and doing the Eren Jaeger Quests. However, it seems that Mikasa and Captain Levi would be locked behind a paywall. However, each skin shouldn’t cost more than 2,000 V-Bucks.
Players can unlock all these characters on April 11, when Attack on Titan X Fortnite crossover kicks off in Season 2.
This won’t be the first time Epic is partnering with a popular anime to roll out skins. Previously, Fortnite has also received upgrades to its arsenal due to anime crossovers. Since Attack on Titan is all about action and has incredible gear as well, it won’t be a surprise if Epic actually adds ODM gear to Fortnite.
