Imane “Pokimane” Anys has made her opinion on Kick known, but the streaming platform is not leaving her alone any time soon.

Kick has been picking up momentum the past few months, with large streamers like Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa and Felix “xQc” Lengyel leaving Twitch for massive non-exclusive offers. It has been appealing to more controversial influencers due to its lack of regulations regarding adult content and gambling. But that’s the exact reason Pokimane was turned off from the platform.

“It’s not because I’ve got $10 million. It’s just because I am good as I am. Why would I compromise my morals and ethics for more money when I have money? Something about that is so cringe to me personally,” Pokimane said at the time.

Despite her adamant opinion, Kick is not backing down.

Kick trolls Pokimane after getting turned down

Pokimane faced a lot of backlash for being harsh about Kick, with many accusing her of thinking she’s better than others for not taking the deal.

But Kick is still sweet on the popular streamer. First, Kick admitted that they still wanted to work with Pokimane despite being shut down. Now, they decided to use her in an ad about leaving Twitch for Kick.

The goofy ad uses the iconic “I’m just hanging around” Beetlejuice audio from TikTok, adding the text: “When Pokimane catches a streamer considering Kick.”

The audio essentially has someone getting questioned about what they are doing and they respond sheepishly, clearly trying to hide their intentions.

The Kick community commended the hilarious jab at Pokimane and her hatred of the platform. It’s pretty on-brand for Kick to meme Twitch, something their marketing team has been doing since the start. But what started as the team simply putting down Twitch for their selfish revenue split has now turned into full-on trolling.
