Fortnitemares 2023: All we know about Fortnite Halloween event

Fortnitemares is returning in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, and leakers have all sorts of wild guesses about the items for the upcoming spooky event. 

Fortnitemares is an annual in-game event in the popular video game Fortnite, which debuted in 2017. This event typically takes place around Halloween and is known for introducing special Halloween-themed content and challenges to the game. Each year, Epic rolls out new and returning items to the shop, making it a popular event among the game’s fans. 

This year is no different. Even though Fortnitemares is days away from release, leakers have already unveiled the potential items, bringing players to the edge. Here’s what to expect from Fortnitemares 2023.

Fortnitemares 2023 potential items 

According to credible Fortnite leaker, this year’s Halloween event will have: 

• Vampire Shotgun that turns Damage dealt into Siphon
• A Vampire Boss that drops a new Red Kinetic Blade
• New Red-Themed Mythic Broomsticks
• New Display Cases unknown changes
• New Halloween Augments and more

Other leakers have also hinted at the return of the Horde Rush mode and new NPCs like Agent Jones, Victoria Saint, and Mincemeat. Out of all these, players are mostly excited about the Mythic Broomstick, which has been leaked alongside other content. 

Some loremasters anticipate Kado Thorne to show up in his revenant form in Fortnitemares and that Time Machine will also become accessible. But these are all guesses for now and shouldn’t be taken as gospel. 

Fortnite Halloween event release date

On October 6, Epic Games confirmed that Fortnitemares is returning for 2023. It’ll officially go live on October 19 in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4. 

“As the sun sets and night washes over the Island, the creatures begin to stir and the hunt is upon us. Fortnitemares returns on 10.10.2023,” Epic announced.

This is all that is currently known about the highly anticipated Halloween event in Fortnite.
