Fortnite Refer a Friend 3.0 is an easy way for loyal players to grab free rewards and help their friends stack up their new inventories.
Epic Games launched the Refer a Friend program back in 2021 as a way to bolster teamwork and player base in Fortnite. By signing up for this program, players could earn unique rewards and get a chance to mingle with their non-Fortnite friends. Now, it’s returning for the third season.
Players can win rewards by inviting new players to play Fortnite through Refer a Friend 3.0. Here’s how it works and all the items you can win through the program, including the Redcap skin.
Fortnite players can win rare rewards by completing simple tasks with new or returning players who have less than two hours of play in the last 30 days. Both the referer and referee will become eligible for exclusive rewards by completing tasks in Refer a Friend 3.0.
Invite up to five eligible friends via the website to play Fortnite
Complete in-game tasks together
Earn in-game rewards after completing a point threshold
Only inviters need to register for the program and then add new players as friends in Fortnite. As long as the invitee is eligible (has less than 2 hours played in Fortnite), both the players will be eligible for rewards.
If you participate in the program as a referrer, you cannot later join as a referee.
Fortnite Refer a Friend 3.0 rewards
There are five-point thresholds, each offering a unique in-game reward. Here are all the rewards the inviter and invitee can win by completing tasks:
Redcap’s Revenge spray: Create a connection
Wild Redcap’s wrap: Play one match of Fortnite with selected friend
Portable Portobello back bling: Place Top 10 in Fortnite six times with selected friend
Shiitake Slasher pickaxe: Eliminate 45 opponents in Fortnite with selected friend
Redcap outfit: Gain 50 cumulative account levels with selected friend
Fortnite Refer a Friend 3.0 program is available until January 9, 2024.
