Fortnite Icon radio station hints at possible Eminem crossover

Fortnite may be getting another celebrity crossover, this time featuring rap music legend Eminem.

Epic Games’ popular battle royale is no stranger to crossovers. In fact, that is one of the things that it’s best known for. Fortnite has had crossover events and cosmetics promoting Star Wars, Marvel, Rick and Morty, DC, Naruto, and League of Legends. Fortnite has also had crossovers with celebrities, including Ariana Grande and Travis Scott. And it looks like Eminem may be next in line.

Is Eminem coming to Fortnite?

The Fortnite community is predicting that a collaboration with popular rapper Eminem is coming to the colorful battle royale. Epic Games will sometimes tease upcoming content in creative ways and this time players believe that the Icon radio station is hinting at the Slim Shady standing up.

One player tweeted themselves driving around with the Icon radio blasting, noting that it was only playing Eminem.

The Icon radio station is often used to showcase important artists within the Fortnite universe including ones that have performed in-game or have skins in the store. The radio purposefully only playing Eminem’s songs makes it seem like something is definitely up.

Of course, it’s just speculation at this point. Epic Games has not formally announced that an Eminem collaboration is incoming. But it really wouldn’t be too surprising. Bruno Mars and other popular artists have cosmetics in the Item Shop and have had their songs playing on Icon radio when their crossovers first began.

So far it’s unclear what the Eminem content would be. It could just be a new skin, or it could be an entire event. It could even be a live concert. It may also just be a music pack. Fortnite players are anxiously awaiting more information about Eminem’s inclusion in Fortnite.
