Fallout Fortnite collaboration

Fortnite and Fallout are coming together for an apocalyptic collaboration in Chapter 5 Season 3.

Fortnite teased a Fallout x Fortnite collaboration on X, and fans were immediately excited. But what do we really know about the upcoming event? Here’s what we know so far.

What is the Fallout x Fortnite collaboration?

Epic Games has not shared any specifics about the collaboration just yet. The teaser simply has a thumbs up, which is a reference to the Pip-Boy mascot, the Vault Boy, and his signature pose.

In the image, we see power armor from the Brotherhood of Steel amidst a heavy, sandy cloud. There’s also a contraption similar to a settlement power generator in front of the armor. From this image, we can guess that we could see a character’s skin inspired by this iconic set of armor or maybe a POI based on the settlements in Fallout 4.

It’s also possible that the crossover could feature characters from the TV show. The Amazon Prime television series based on the science fiction game series was met with applause from gamers and general viewers alike thanks to its accuracy of the games, dynamic characters, dark humor, and intense storyline.

It would not be surprising to see vault dweller turned adventurer Lucy MacLean or seemingly cold-hearted and broken Cooper Howard (aka The Ghoul). These characters have quickly become well-known and have stand-out personalities and looks that would translate well in Fortnite.

The Fortnite collaboration is definitely thanks to success of the Fallout TV show and the subsequent increase in interest in Bethesda’s old games. We don’t know what will be in the collaboration so far but it will definitely include a lot of sci fi skins and maybe POIs that will reference the Wasteland.
