The Fallout TV show has been getting a lot of love from both critics and fans since it premiered on April 10th. Now, fans want to know more about the actress who played Lucy MacLean and the entire Fallout TV show cast.
Fallout TV show is getting praised for staying true to the video games both in terms of storyline and characters. From costume to visuals, everything is reminiscent of the original video games, and fans are pleased. However, it’s the actors who have done justice to the characters who struggle in the wasteland.
The show has a long list of cast members, but here’s what we know about the main Fallout TV show cast.
Ella Purnell plays Lucy MacLean in Fallout. She’s the show’s protagonist, who leaves the supposed comfort of her vault to find her father after he gets kidnapped.
After 219 years since the nuclear attack that left the world in ruins and some people in the vaults for safety, Lucy ventures into the outside world with a purpose. In order to find her father, Lucy encounters the horrific truth about the world and what it has become during the time she was estranged in a vault.
This isn’t Ella’s first rodeo in gaming. She’s the voice of Jinx in Netflix’s Arcane, an adaptation of League of Legends lore and backstory.
Maximus, who steps into the wasteland with the purpose of hunting for a member of the Enclave, becomes Lucy’s unpredictable ally. He’s played by Aaron Moten.
From his breakout role in the acclaimed series Mozart in the Jungle to his appearances in hit shows like Disjointed and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Moten has showcased his versatility and range as a performer. In Fallout, he’s won hearts in his role as a valiant member of the Brotherhood of Steel.
He’s also the character behind the iconic dialogue: Everyone wants to save the world; they just disagree on how.
The Ghoul, or Cooper Howard, is played by Walton Goggins, who some may know from his roles in gritty dramas like “The Shield,” “Justified” and “The Righteous Gemstones.”
The Ghoul has a gut-wrenching story, and Fallout does full justice in narrating it. Before he turned into a grotesquely mutated Ghoul, Cooper Howard was a father, actor, and spokesperson of Vault-Tec. However, his story does move towards redemption by episode 8.
Kyle MacLachlan plays Hank MacLean, Lucy’s father. He makes a short appearance at the show’s beginning as Vault 33’s Overseer. He eventually gets kidnapped right after Lucy’s wedding ends in bloodshed.
Dr. Siggi Wilzig is played by Michael Emerson, an actor some may know from Saw, where he played Zep Hindle.
Wilzig is a scientist in Fallout who’s running experiments on a dog. While he appears for brief moments, he has valuable interactions with the main characters in the Fallout TV show.
Moldaver is a character that everyone fears for all the right reasons. Sarita Choudhury steps into the role of a ruthless scientist and officer.
Moldaver is the mastermind behind Hank’s kidnapping. During Lucy’s wedding, Moldaver’s raiders enter Vault 34, feigning to be Vault 32 inhabitants, which leads to a disaster and Hank’s abduction.
