Elon Musk caught League of Legends fans’ attention last week by posting art to Arcane’s protagonist, Jinx, without any context. For a Twitter post clearly meant to capitalize on the popularity of the show, it had a surprisingly volatile reaction from different aspects of the League of Legends fandom.

The Tesla CEO has now doubled down, sharing yet another cryptic tweet involving Jinx and Arcane antagonist Silco.

The tweet may be intentionally nonsensical, meant to string together popular keywords and get a reaction. However, Musk’s foray into the world of League of Legends has little explanation yet except for the capitalizing on the viral nature of the animated adaptation.

The second tweet of its kind in a week, Musk’s occasional pivot to reference the most popular video game in the world may be little more than a billionaire trying to appear relatable and informed. The tweet has absolutely nothing to do with the show and seems meant to drive engagement, but without Musk expanding further, it’s hard to say for sure.

Elon Musk Arcane tweets leads to Froskurinn, Macaiyla dispute

Musk’s first tweet resulted in mockery from fans and professionals, including former LEC and LPL caster Indiana “Froskurinn” Black. Froskurinn’s take on the irony of Musk’s post led to harsh words being exchanged between her and Cloud9 content creator Macaiyla, best known for streaming and being Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp’s long-term girlfriend.

The argument escalated over the course of a couple days, with Macaiyla doubling down on her vitriolic responses to Froskurinn. It’s unclear what prompted the response, making it yet another cryptic Twitter display coming on the back of Arcane.
