It’s no secret that Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm has beef with Twitch. Now, the Two-Time is calling on Netflix to make his grudge match with Twitch into a series inspired by a fan film.
Dr Disrespect recently reacted to a fan-made short film inspired by his ongoing hatred of Twitch. He was so impressed that the streaming influencer called on Netflix to make it into a television show.
Titled “Dr. Disrespect: The Chosen One,” the film by Chris Cook uses Unreal Engine to create a realistic Dr. Disrespect in a cyberpunk world inspired by the Matrix — except this time, the corporate villain is Twitch.

After picking from an orange and blue pill, Dr. Disrespect gets on a motorcycle and starts his attempt at taking down Twitch. Throughout the production, there are references to his streams, fanbase, and products, but it’s the intensity of the film that really has fans hooked.
Halfway through the film, an announcer states that Dr Disrespect still hasn’t signed with any streaming service after his fallout with Twitch. This has left fans wondering what is next for the Two Time after he expressed disappointment with YouTube.
Twitch starts chasing Dr Disrespect after the news segment, but he outruns the ominous van on his bike. The streaming platform then takes out an aerial vehicle to finish the job, but the Doc takes it down with a single bullet. This reveals some of the seemingly brainwashed cronies at the Twitch headquarters.
In response to the action-packed and intense short film, Doc shared a reaction on a livestream: “Jesus! That’s what it’s about, right there, baby. I’m ready to watch the full season on Netflix.”
Fans have agreed with the sentiment. Comments have started pouring in, with many pointing out all of the easter eggs and references, as well as the emotional portrayal of Dr Disrespect fighting against Twitch’s regulations.
Said one excited fan: “DOC PLAYED THIS DURING HIS STREAM TODAY AND LEFT THE WHOLE CC SPEECHLESS, GREAT JOB DUDE! FIRM HANDSHAKES YAYAYAYA.”
Another noted that the gritty atmosphere, attention to detail, music, effects, and storytelling made them think the creator was ready for the big time. Others simply called it a masterpiece.
Dr Disrespect was permanently banned from Twitch in June 2020, but he never explained exactly why he was not allowed on the platform. Despite the secrecy, fans were heavily on Doc’s side, especially when he explained that the permaban had significantly impacted his career and ability to get sponsorships and deals.
After the ban, Dr Disrespect moved to YouTube the same year. But he has expressed issues with the platform, including feeling like the viewership isn’t the same and a lack of support from YouTube despite his popularity.
Meanwhile, Doc has been in a feud with Twitch, mocking the platform whenever he can. The various regulations and decisions have been met with eye rolls from Dr Disrespect. In the background, the Two-Time also had an ongoing lawsuit with Twitch that remained quite private.
