YouTube streamer Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm has finally revealed the reason behind his recent ban from Warzone 2.

In late November, Dr Disrespect admitted that he was using a new account because his actual account was banned from Warzone for seven days. He believed it had something to do with proximity chat, but nobody was quite sure what caused him to get banned when other people also used it to troll.

Proximity chat has been a huge hit with Call of Duty players, allowing them to hear opponents’ voice chats when they get close enough. This has led to some funny interactions and also allowed the Two-Time to catch a stream sniper in action when he heard his own stream on the other end.

Dr Disrespect has been getting really creative with his use of proximity chat, using it to fool opponents in a variety of ways. This includes masking his own footsteps. He also has used proximity chat to mock opponents, causing one to even argue back that it wasn’t right to make fun of a sick person. But what was the final straw for Activision?

Why was Dr Disrespect banned?

The Doc was a bit vague about the reason behind his ban last week, simply chalking it up to trolling. But this left many of his viewers confused since other streamers were also trolling.

During a more recent stream, Two-Time finally opened up about the specifics. It was apparently for the use of the word “p—ssy.” In response, Dr Disrespect said that Activision is out of touch.

A lot of people have started speculating if Dr Disrespect is being purposefully targeted by Activision to “make an example” out of him. It’s possible that the developers want to warn other players that trolling, spamming, and swearing while using proximity chat has consequences.

Activision has yet to speak out publicly about its decision to ban Dr Disrespect from Warzone 2. For now, fans are a bit skeptical about the true reason behind the seven-day suspension.
