It’s official: E3 will not be returning. While this is unfortunate news for some in the gaming industry, Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm felt no sympathy for the event.
Dr Disrespect is no stranger to controversy. It shook the entire internet when he was mysteriously banned permanently from Twitch and there’s still no public reason despite some lawsuits between the Two-Time and the streaming platform. But this overshadowed some other drama with Dr Disrespect, including his ban from E3.
If you recall, Dr Disrespect was banned from the gaming industry event when he livestreamed from the bathroom. This was against the event’s rules but the ban was met with a lot of frustration from Dr Disrespect’s fans.
Dr Disrespect took to social media to make some snappy remarks after E3 was announced as completely over.
In a tweet, Dr Disrespect shared an image of E3’s logo appearing to peak out from behind a bathroom stall. This was definitely a reference to the Doc getting booted from E3 for livestreaming from their bathroom.
The response to Dr Disrespect’s meme was largely other memes and humors. A lot of people joked that E3 getting canceled was karma for banning Dr Disrespect.
But remember, the Doc showed men using the urinals on his livestream so he really wasn’t all too innocent this time around.
