Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm has responded to accusations that he caused NBA star Steph Curry’s trip while watching a basketball game.
The Two-Time attended the Western Conference Finals with OpTic CEO Hector “HECZ” Rodriguez over the weekend and could be seen sitting courtside during Game 3 of Golden State Warriors versus the Dallas Mavericks. The streaming star was wearing his full outfit complete with sunglasses and mullet.
At one point, MVP Steph Curry could be seen falling down in front of where Dr Disrespect was sitting. This quickly started some drama online, with some claiming that Dr Disrespect decided to intentionally trip the basketball superstar.
The original tweet accusing The Two-Time ended up being a joke, with the Twitter user replying a bit later that they didn’t actually believe Dr Disrespect tripped the NBA player.
A closer look at the clip shows that Curry started falling before reaching where Dr Disrespect was seated. Some believe that Curry tripped over a vendor that was selling refreshments. While the situation seemed to be solved, Dr Disrespect decided to clear it up on his own Twitter as well.
Many fans responded with support for the streamer, showing various screenshots of him showing up in the front row. Throughout the game, Dr Disrespect could be seen getting up and cheering. Some fans even spotted Dr Disrespect while in the crowd themselves. He was easy to spot due to his bright red outfit and incredible height.
It’s no secret that Dr Disrespect is a huge basketball fan.
The streamer was once a basketball player himself. While he now spends a lot of his time sitting down, The Doc actually played Division II NCAA basketball at California State Polytechnic University.
