World of Warcraft streamer Asmongold has responded to Felix “xQc” Lengyel’s take on the Friendsgiving drama, saying that the controversial content creator is right and that he feels like a “d—.”

On November 21, members of the One True King collective got together for a live stream where they played some games. One of the attending streamers, Minx, was offered alcohol by Malena but OTK member Esfand said that Minx “can’t drink” since he thought she was using Oxycodone, a strong painkiller.

In response, Minx told Esfand that she wasn’t actually under the influence and had been fooling around. But Esfand’s initial strong reaction created tension in the group and caused a lot of discussion amongst the streaming community. Asmongold ended up chiming in, saying that “everyone was in the wrong.”

xQc discusses Friendsgiving drama

In a recent stream, xQc was watching a montage of content creators bashing gambling streams. One of the people to say negative things about gambling was Asmongold, who said that “everybody knows” gambling streams are bad. Asmongold has previously criticized Twitch for allowing gambling streams on its platform.

“Yeah, but let me throw it back at Asmongold. He’s my friend though…He’s not my dad…I can do what I want, right? If you’re somebody’s friend, who are you to tell them what to do and what not to do, right?” xQc said

Asmongold saw xQc’s take on the situation and agreed with the outspoken streamer. On his secondary channel, Asmongold opened up about the situation on a live broadcast. He said that he was mad at Esfand at the time but now feels it was “stupid to say.”

Asmongold told fans that he saw xQc’s clip and watched it. He said that xQc called him out but he was right about the situation.

“I was just being a d—,” Asmongold said.

The streaming community was shocked to hear Asmongold admit he was wrong as streamers are generally not willing to admit fault in anything, ever. Some even joked that the clip should be made into an NFT and sold. It was also noted that Asmongold has admitted to being wrong before, with many praising him for being smart and level-headed.
