Twitch streamer Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa has dealt with some backlash ever since returning to streaming but has some harsh words for anyone judging her.
Amouranth recently revealed that she was stuck in an abusive relationship with a husband who controlled her content and finances. She explained that it was Nick Lee’s idea to make her do hot tub streams, capitalizing on her body and the Twitch trend. This has left some in the streaming community confused since Amouranth has continued to make adult content even after leaving her toxic relationship behind.
Now, Amouranth has responded to the ongoing criticism.
Amouranth explains her Twitch content
When Amouranth initially left her husband, the streaming community applauded her for doing a wholesome stream with her horses. But since then, she has continued to post sexy photos and do adult-oriented content on Twitch. Has her content changed?
According to Amouranth, yes.
On her personal Twitter account, Amouranth explained that she was originally doing 50% or more streams that involved a hot tub. That number has since dropped to below 10% since leaving her abusive husband.
According to a chart she posted, her Twitch content has largely been Just Dance streams, Just Chatting sessions and special events. She has also been playing Overwatch 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
But that wasn’t even the main reason the accusations have been bothering her. Amouranth largely lashed out at people who claimed she was hoping to rebrand herself. In a tweet, Amouranth said it’s not a rebrand and she “literally doesn’t care” about that.
“I get to do what I want and I still make seven-figure money a month. Life is better,” Amouranth replied to a hater.
Some of Amouranth’s most recent streams have been IRL dates. This has become quite a success for Amouranth and even caused some drama with Felix “xQc” Lengyel, leading to even more hype surrounding the content.
