More details have come out about Adrianah’s defamation lawsuit against OTK and its prominent members, revealing that she’s asking for more than $2 million in damages.

Lee filed the lawsuit with the 200th District Court in Austin, Texas on March 16, 2023, naming Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo, Maya Higa, and CrazySlick. This followed a situation where Lee claimed she was sexually assaulted by CrazySlick, but was told to not come forward with the situation by Maya Higa and Mizkif.

A document obtained by Dexerto allegedly shows that the lawsuit is asking for over $2 million in damages from OTK and the named members, who were all previously accused of trying to cover up a sexual assault. Here’s how it was broken down:

  • $250,000 of the total amount is for “damages of any kind, penalties, costs, expenses, pre-judgement interest, and attorney’s fees.”
  • $1.2 million in damages are for making “false, defamatory” statements that “were made with malicious intent.”
  • $1.2 was for “emotional distress” and the situation ultimately interfering with “business relations.”

Why are OTK and Mizkif getting sued?

Adrianah Lee came forward in the fall of 2022 with accusations against CrazySlick, claiming that he sexually assaulted her while she was asleep at a party. It later came out that Mizkif and Maya had allegedly attempted to stop Lee from going public with this accusation since CrazySlick was their friend.

“I was told, ‘It’s okay! Just come out about it so we don’t have to kick Slick out. We’ll come to a middle ground so we don’t have to kick Slick out. You’ll be fine!” Lee said.

Mizkif was later investigated for his involvement in the sexual assault situation. But when he was cleared of any wrongdoing by the third-party investigators, he came back with a highly insensitive stream that rubbed the streaming community the wrong way.

“I was completely tone deaf to such a serious situation. I’m so sorry for how I acted. It was completely insensitive. I want to apologize to everyone but especially victims of sexual assault. The way I behaved was horrible. I will be better. I will learn from this situation,” Mizkif said in early 2023.

Now, Lee is claiming statements made by Maya and Mizkif were done with “intent to cause harm” to her, possibly destroying her relationship with her followers, viewers, subscribers, and sponsors.

That is the extent of what is publicly known about the defamation lawsuit at this time.
