Counter-Strike: Global Offensive got its 10th birthday update but a new patch added the Initiators Music Kit Box, which includes a music kit from YouTuber 3kliksphilip.

Valve continuously rolls out exciting in-game cosmetics for players to buy. Pricey and exclusive skins have become a commodity in CSGO, and most can’t afford them. Players with a budget can still look to music kits to make their presence felt in a game, though. They’re comparatively cheaper and add style to highlight-worthy plays. A few days after its 10th birthday, CSGO released a new update adding a number of new music kits.

“On a quest to go pro, or unintentionally going low? Let this kit’s 80’s synths and dreamy melodies take you back. Back, back, back… to the good old days,” Valve said.

Who is 3kliksphilip from CSGO?

3kliksphilip is a popular YouTuber in the CSGO community who regularly releases CSGO content. His work has garnered him a following of more than 1 million subscribers on the platform. For all these reasons, loyal CSGO players constantly requested Valve to use his modded music kits a spot in the real game.

3kliksphilip’s track”Heading for the Source” isn’t created on the spur of the moment. Instead, the first details of this track date back to March 2021. The community was all for his music but had a few notes to improve it. 3kliksphilip took his piece back into the lab to make necessary changes and released it three months later.

Valve has finally decided to reward his hard work by adding his soundtrack to the latest Initiators Music Kit Box. The StatTrak Initiators Kit Box features music that keeps track of MVPs earned with the item equipped.

Players can now get the kit from Steam for $3 to $5.

The AWP Asiimov is an extravagant skin, but it’s not the price that makes Asiimov a hot commodity. Dozens of professional CSGO players registered historic shots with their Snipers wrapped in Asiimov, including the AWPing legend Kenneth “KennyS” Schrub. The king of flicks utilized this gun in most tournaments where he made highlight-worthy plays, dubbing the Asiimov as the “KennyS AWP.”
