Aspiring Counter-Strike 2 pro players will be glad to know that they now have a chance to play like s1mple, who is now offering lessons to help you get better at the game.

Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has earned his mettle as one of the best CS players in history. With a record 21 HLTV MVP medals, a Major trophy, and the title of the best player of 2018, 2021, and 2022, s1mple is the crowned king of CS2. After hanging the mouse temporarily, he’s now looking to train players aspiring to go pro in CS2. In collaboration with FACEIT, s1mple has introduced a new course titled “Play Like S1mple.”

At the tail end of 2023, S1mple announced his indefinite break from CS2. He reassured fans he’d return soon and also stood in for the Falcons at the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown. Meanwhile, he launched his own website called Play Like S1mple, designed to help players improve their game.

“Here I will share all the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my career so you can improve your game and become a much better player,” s1mple said.

Play Like S1mple website crashes with signup overflow

When s1mple announced his course, everyone expected it to shake up the CS2 community. However, the response was still too overwhelming as the website ran into multiple issues and jitters soon after it went live. According to the official course page, it was due to the “amount of people” trying to sign up simultaneously.

It’s worth noting that you get three free lessons upon signing up. You can then pay $100 for a year-long subscription, which would include more pre-recorded lessons. At the time, the website had over 55 lessons from s1mple, and according to him, it’s only the first half of the course.

Interested players can now sign up on the website here
