Yae Miko fans can finally look forward to a release date for Genshin Impcat’s shapeshifting swami.

Several prominent leakers appear to have advance information about Genshin Impact 2.5. The most likely release date for Yae Miko is February 15, 2022. Her release will coincide with the Genshin Impact 2.5 update and the end of Lantern Rite. The leaks also claim that the long-awaited Chasm area will finally receive new details in the 2.5 live stream. Yae Miko and a brand-new area could be great additions to the open-world adventure game.

News of Yae Miko’s release date does not come from official sources. Several prominent Genshin Impact leakers on social media have come forward with details that seem to match each other. Reputable leakers including UBatcha and Lumie shared the news of Yae Miko’s release date. While not yet definitive, the info should be confirmed or denied during the upcoming Genshin Impact 2.5 live stream on February 4.

Yae Miko is a close associate of the Raiden Shogun in the land of Inazuma. Miko is also the Guuji of Grand Narukami Shrine and the editor of Yae Publishing House. She shows an interest in the traveler. Through the course of the Inazuma story, she drops hints about their future, saves their life from Scaramouche, and even trains them up for the Raiden Shogun boss fight.

What weapon and element is Yae Miko?

Yae Miko is an electro-vision user who wields a catalyst as a weapon. Her regular attacks can summon kitsune spirits that swarm her foes. Yae Miko’s elemental skill appears to summon electro flowers that emit persistent damage to nearby enemies. Summoning multiple flowers will empower existing ones up to a maximum of three.

Yae Miko’s elemental burst sacrifices all existing flowers to summon lightning bolts from the sky. Based on early information, she appears to be a dedicated sub-DPS character that excels at both starting and ending fights.

All information about Yae Miko’s abilities and talents comes from leaked testing information and does not necessarily represent the final version of the character.
