Chronos is the father of the original game’s antagonist, Hades. He’s the Titan of Time and Hades 2’s primary antagonist.
In Hades 2, Chronos is portrayed as a power-hungry Titan who’s still furious over his children for taking over his throne. To reverse the damage, Chronos wants to turn back the time to when he was in power. Since he has escaped imprisonment in the depths of the Underworld, it’s now up to the player to defeat him.
Melinoe is Zagreus’ sister, and she’s more determined to put an end to the Titan of Time than her brother. She’s the main protagonist of Hades 2, which means players will step into her shoes in the Underworld.
The main protagonist of Hades 2 is the daughter of Persephone and Zeus. Melinoe has been trained by Hecate, the goddess of witchcraft and crossroads in Greek Mythology, to be a titan slayer in order to beat Chronos, who’s taken control of the Underworld.
