Fans of Felix “xQc” Lengyel were disgusted when the Twitch streamer showed off his dirty streaming area in a recent stream. Now, xQc is attempting to tidy up his streaming space after hearing the concern from viewers.

While streaming yesterday, xQc tilted his webcam downward to reveal a heaping pile of empty fast food wrappers and soda cans. The situation was so revolting that some fans even called his room a “landfill.” This was the third time that xQc had shown the true state of his bedroom, leaving some fans concerned that xQc was living in squalor for years despite making millions off his streaming.

In response to the shock from his community, xQc decided to clean up his room, but not everything went as planned.

xQc attempts to clean up room after criticism

“I gotta clean the room,” xQc said with a groan during his recent stream.

Viewers started to spam “clean the room” in an attempt to motivate xQc to stop watching videos online and start cleaning up his space. The attempt worked, and xQc decided to start cleaning up on stream.

During the cleanup stream, xQc opened up a giant trash bag with the goal of stuffing all the room’s loose wrappers inside. He also brought over wipes, soap, and a sponge. The leftover food on the ground was from Taco Bell, a chicken restaurant, Subway, Starbucks, and McDonald’s. He showed the inside of the containers, some of which had “transforming” old food inside them.

“That’s some real mold. See that? See the mold. Look at it. Actual mold,” xQc said after holding up some leftovers.

At this point, fans urged xQc to wear a face mask. He already had collected two trash bags worth of leftover food. His floor was almost visible at this point, but his desk was still covered in empty bottles.

xQc then went to work cleaning his desk. This including tossing out soda cans and old cups of Starbucks. He even started cleaning his mousepad and keyboard after wiping down his desk. The mousepad seemed like a lost cause, however, and couldn’t be fully cleaned of its filth.

The chat exploded with “I was here,” clearly excited to be part of xQc’s first-ever cleaning stream. Aside from a few hiccups, including a drink “exploding” onto the wall, it seemed to be a successful cleanup.
