xQc makes the jump to TikTok, here’s where to find him
xQc makes the jump to TikTok, here's where to find him
Despite being one of the most famous content creators online, fans noticed that Felix “xQc” Lengyel didn’t have an official TikTok account. While clips of his gameplay and streams could be found on the viral website, it seemed that xQc himself wasn’t present on the massive social media platform.
Until now.
xQc has finally joined TikTok, donning the username “twitchxqcow.” He announced the new account on April 1, ensuring his fans that it wasn’t an April Fools Day prank.
xQc creates first TikTok video, goes viral instantly
It didn’t take much for xQc to go viral on the new social media platform. He has
created his first TikTok video
already, captioned “FIRST POST. I’M LEARNING” with the hashtag #xqc. The video has xQc leaning towards the camera and then saying “hello.”
Despite the comical simplicity of the TikTok video, which features xQc leaning in at an unflattering angle and asking fans to “be nice,” xQc’s video has already gone viral. His first TikTok has over 3.7 million views and a whopping 680,000 likes.
xQc also has over 271,000 followers on TikTok already even though he has yet to post anything substantial. As one of the most popular Twitch streamers of all time, this quick rise in popularity on TikTok is to be expected.
It’s unclear what xQc will post on TikTok. It could be reaction videos, short clips from his streams, or gameplay footage. It could even be original content made specifically for TikTok.
Even though his first post is hilariously simple, it’s possible he’s mocking the oft-criticized TikTok format, which typically features the most famous creators doing minimal things yet getting millions of views.
